Reception at 6 pm; Dinner at 7 pm

Hotel Fort Des Moines, 1000 Walnut Street, Des Moines

The Keynote Speaker will be The Right Reverend Jane Holmes Dixon, retired Episcopal Bishop of Washington; second woman in the United States to be elevated to the office of Bishop.

 

The Interfaith Award will be presented to Rekha Basu

Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus will perform.

 

Sponsored tables of eight available at $2500, $1000, and $500.  Individual reservations are $50.

Shouldn't schools teach abstinence-only? Doesn't teaching comprehensive, age-appropriate sexuality in schools give kids ideas? Are any of these arguments based in fact? What's in the curriculum promoted by the Religious Right?

When making a reservation, please indicate if you need a vegetarian lunch.  Cost is $8 and is payable at the door.
